Studio Tech Lead

REQUIREMENTS

– Mandatory hands-on experience in Casino/iGaming game development (Slots, Crash/Table games, or iGaming framework engineering)
– Strong mastery of TypeScript and JavaScript
– Expert-level proficiency with PixiJS or similar 2D web engines
– Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and System Architecture
– Broad technical knowledge spanning Backend code, Game Math, DevTools, Version Control (Git), and Infrastructure/DevOps pipelines
– Proven experience improving development processes, tooling, and workflows
– Self-driven and proactive mindset with passion for games and continuous curiosity
– Decisive and resilient with strong problem-solving abilities
– Fluent English (written and spoken)
– Ukrainian language proficiency

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
– Knowledge of QA workflows and testing methodologies
– Familiarity with backend frameworks and game architecture patterns
– Experience mentoring and scaling engineering teams
– Understanding of cross-functional collaboration with Art, Math, and Infrastructure teams
– Experience with version control systems and Git workflows

FUNCTIONS

– Continuously analyze and overhaul the game production lifecycle to achieve maximum speed without sacrificing quality
– Eliminate operational bottlenecks and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization
– Partner with Art, Math, and Infrastructure teams to streamline asset handoff and drastically shorten delivery cycles
– Take full technical ownership of internal RGS, GDK, and overall game development architecture
– Dive into backend systems, game math, dev-tools, CI/CD, and QA workflows to unlock cross-functional optimizations
– Execute fast, learn quickly from mistakes, iterate, and fix issues immediately with a bias-for-action mindset
– Lead, mentor, and evaluate the core tech team with an individualized approach to performance, focus, and skill development
– Set clear priorities and remove technical blockers to build a high-performing team ready to scale
– Drive technical evolution and maintain ownership of engineering systems and processes
